Would you like to participate in an international expansion of a cutting-edge data company? We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and business development who will spread the word about our unique data product in all European markets.

Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or other roles requiring proactive client outreach is welcomed but not required. We will teach you all the tools of the trade, skill you up, and let you grow with us. You will work alongside professionals with experience from companies such as Google, McKinsey, or Socialbakers and help us kick-start a market research revolution.

What do we expect from you

  • Fluency in English, native or bilingual proficiency in a major European language is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to try and assess multiple approaches before you identify something that works
  • Self-starter attitude - we expect you to hit the ground running every day
  • Ambition to start and move fast on the sales/business development career track
  • You will enjoy getting in touch with prospective customers - if you are a person who does not like to call or write to people you have never seen before, this job is not for you
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the area of Business, Economy, or Finance is a plus, but students are welcome to apply as well
  • Located in/ near Prague, to regularly work/ meet in our Prague office with the rest of the commercial team
  • Availability for a full-time role

What will your role entail?

  • Proactive research of potential companies/contacts relevant to SharpGrid's value proposition
  • Ongoing generation, qualification, and management of interested client prospects and business opportunities and diligent tracking in our CRM tool
  • Frequent communication with prospects via email, LinkedIn, Phone & Video calls to build awareness of SharpGrid's value proposition, products, and expertise.
  • Setting up meetings between (prospective) customers and SharpGrid sales executives → your main KPI
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve quality and competitiveness
